      How did we simplify the Salesforce integration process for Boost.ai’s clients, making it accessible even for non-technical users?

      Boost.ai customers faced challenges in configuring Salesforce integrations due to the platform's complexity, particularly for those lacking technical skills. This manual procedure was time-consuming and hindered quick completion. Our goal was to streamline this integration, optimizing for user convenience and increasing accessibility, ensuring that the flow is effortless and fast.

      What we created:

      Master of Code Global developed a user-friendly API Connector for Boost.ai, streamlining the Salesforce integration

      The MOCG team built a custom connected app, directly addressing Boost.ai’s client challenges. This intuitive wizard-like application guides users through a simplified setup process, eliminating the need for extensive technical knowledge or manual configuration.

      We’ve broken it down into three easy-to-follow steps:

      • The first one involves choosing the appropriate Salesforce account whose credentials will be utilized for the OAuth flow. This ensures the necessary permissions within the CRM environment.
      • The person then defines the OAuth scopes, determining the level of access. Additionally, they enter up to three IP addresses for whitelisting, securing the connection between Boost.ai and Salesforce. Customers can also opt for an unrestricted permit if required.
      • After the setup is completed, the system generates a unique integration code. This script is then inserted into the Boost admin panel to finalize the procedure. Detailed instructions are provided in the Knowledge Base to ensure a smooth and straightforward completion of the arrangements.

      The development of the API Connector demanded painstaking attention to several key factors, particularly around meeting Salesforce’s stringent security standards. One of the critical aspects was ensuring proper cookie storage, which was highlighted during an internal audit.

      We had to take this into account and make adjustments to fully comply with all the requirements. This process underscored the fact that working successfully with this CRM often implies more than just following documentation – many nuances can only be mastered through practical experience.

      Despite these complexities, our masters efficiently managed the project, completing it in just two months. Moreover, the approval process, which typically takes 4-6 weeks, was expedited, allowing us to finish it in just one week, further demonstrating our ability to effectively navigate Salesforce’s rigorous validation procedures.
